Is a deposit required to book a party or event?
Yes, we require a $50 deposit to secure any birthday party or hourly rental. Bookings for weddings, receptions, or total value over $1000 require a 50% deposit up front. Your reservation is not secure until the deposit has been received. Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations received within 2 weeks of the booking date may apply the deposit to a subsequent booking. Cancellations after 2 weeks forfeit the deposit.
How soon do I need to make a reservation?
We encourage you to book your party/event as soon as you know what date you want. The earlier you book, the best chance you have of getting the date/time of your choice. That said, the minimum lead time required for a booking is 48 hours, so if there's still availability, we'll do our best to get you in!
Do you accept credit/debit cards?
No, unfortunately at this time we only accept cash, cheque, or email money transfer. Email money transfers should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you permit outside food/drink?
Of course! You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to our facility for any birthday party or private rental. Certain public events do not permit outside food/drink so please check for specific event information. Please note if alcohol is brought in, you must provide your own LCBO special occasion permit available at any LCBO branch and must abide by all LCBO requirements.
How early can I come to set up for a party?
If you are booking a time-slot for a party, you are allowed to show up 10-15 minutes in advance and must have the area cleared by 10 minutes following your booked slot. If you think you will require more time for set-up/clean-up you must book the space accordingly. We have a schedule to keep and want to be sure all other parties are able to access the facilities at their booked time. Thank you for your cooperation!
Do we have to clean up following a party?
It is expected that all parties leave the facility in the same condition as when they came. This includes the equipment put away and equipment room left tidy, all garbage/recycling deposited in provided cans, etc. We take care of wiping down tables and sweeping/mopping where needed, but we do appreciate notification of spills or larger messes so we can address them immediately.
